Bee venom can literally destroy HIV without rubbing your body

Bees seem to do a lot of things for us, but do you know that besides pollination of flowers they can do such things as the destruction of HIV? Yes, a toxin found in bee venom can destroy HIV.

It was found that when blowing holes in the protective layer surrounding HIV and other viruses, Melittin (a toxin found in bee venom) can potentially prevent the spread of HIV / AIDS by working for the destruction of the virus itself. This was found by scientists from the Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis.

The pharmaceutical industry seems to be looking to use nanoparticles containing melittin in some of its products to counteract HIV, but a homeopathic remedy derived from bee venom could help prevent the spread of the disease itself if it is done correctly. Scientists use a version of nanoparticles containing melittin to protect healthy cells from damage that is done, because free fermenting bee venom in the body can potentially be very harmful.

It was found that melitin loaded nanoparticles are quite effective in destroying tumor cells, but the particles are able to work because a protective bumper has been added to the surface of the nanoparticles. When they come in contact with healthy cells, they simply bounce off of them, because the cells are quite large. The HIV virus is much smaller in size than the nanoparticles, and therefore, when these particles containing melittin touch the HIV cell, they penetrate into it and destroy the cell pierced by the disease.

This is a new approach to fighting AIDS, which will show a significant improvement, given that most drugs sold for this disease only stop the virus from replicating and does nothing to stop the initial infection.

Other viruses, such as hepatitis B and C, may also be useful for treatment similar to bee venom treatment, as they attack the affected cells, which are very similar. Clinical trials for this treatment are still under way with funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (grant number for OPP1024642, Fusogenic Nanoparticles for Combined HIV Treatment / Contraception). Bee venom has actually been used throughout history to heal such things as shingles, gout, high blood pressure and hay fever.

The use of bee products for medical purposes is known as Apitherapy. This includes the use of bee venom, raw honey, pollen, beeswax and royal jelly. It is a form of medicine that has existed for more than three thousand years.
